Megan Puleri, the stunning brunette on an astronaut outfit at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday was discovered in Columbus, Ohio three years ago. Specifically, at a dressing room of a Gap.
In which her parents in coincidence ran into the chief marketing officer of Victoria’s Secret, Ed Razek, in times of shopping at the Easton Town Center.
She approached him by the mall saying,
“My daughter wants to be a model.”
Thus, showing him a picture of a 15-year-old megan.
It was then he replied that she would have to wait until she reaches 18. Having said that, 17 months later, Megan who was 17 won a local modeling contest. In which, she finally met Razek at the Victoria’s Secret offices that occurred in Columbus. To that day, he introduced her to bigwigs at Manhattan’s IMG Models, and eventually signed her last October 2014.
There are high-profile models that need to audition a variety of times including Gigi Hadid who got rejected two times. However, Megan got it with only a first try.
As she stated,
“My agent and I talked about it multiple times, [assuming] that I wasn’t going to get it,”
She added,
“[My agent] said it was the experience I was going for.”
Megan, being the youngest of the Victoria’s Secret Angels of 2015 bunch indeed has got more of a journey in her way.
