Khloe Kardashian decided to open up about her support on the recovery of Lamar Odom and how she is coping up with the situation. About two weeks ago, Lamar was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. Kardashian told the PEOPLE magazine about how she want to get to Odom’s side the moment she heard of the news. “I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn’t want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about,” she added. The former NBA player is currently treated at a recovery center in LA.
While Odom is dealing with this traumatic ordeal, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star decided to call off their divorce. But this, Kardashian cleared, would not mean that she will get back together with him. “I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it… It’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about us having a relationship. Only time will tell.”
Kardashian have also confessed about how she always loved Lamar. “I loved him always, and I will always love him… I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don’t have to be with that person in order to love him. I love Lamar, and I’ll always be there for him like I promised,” she said during the People interview.
When the the People’s issue was published, Khloe received a lot of critics from the fans which she addresses using her Twitter account. She explained that some of the interview’s parts were already done prior to what happened, and that she was obligated to do a 5-minute follow up because that was the contract for her book promotion. “I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to. I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention,” she posted.
