Roberto Cavalli’s Collection for Spring 2016

Roberto Cavalli has been known to produce trendy ready-to-wears for all seasons. For 2016, Cavalli’s Spring collection focuses on two major trends for the season; the laceup and wrap-tied footwear.

Suede ankle booties were presented in various spring colors, including violet, aqua blue and even embossed snakeskin. Being a popular choice for high-class footwear nowadays, Cavalli made the soles and heels wooden, which just made the footwear look cheap instead of luxurious. To add details to the shoes, wrap-tied bows were made attached on the side.

Laceup booties tied on the ankles and booties with double straps made of leather were also up for Cavalli’s spring collection for 2016.

Meanwhile, as the new creative director of the company, Peter Dundas was able to display his first collection of ready-to-wear, of which according to the website’s show notes, shows off the brand’s fundamental elements. The pastel colors of his creation gave an overall softness and relaxing vibe. Dundas took over his current position for Cavalli last March.
