The Weekend is reportedly being sued for those who were involved entirely in the making of “The Hills” for copyright infringement by Cutting Edge Music Limited UK-based film.
The plaintiff claimed that the song stole a sample from a movie entitled The Machine, and confidently has a proof that the act of piracy wasn’t done inadvertently.
Until then, according to the complaint, a message from a producer who worked on “The Hills” for the plaintiff on Twitter are of below,
“I sampled your music might make it 2 the weeknd next album. Huge fan of what u did 4 the machine movie!”
For more, the plaintiff had been reported to be issuing a permanent injunction aside from copyright infringement.
