The voice of Disney’s Robin Hood, as well as Tony Winner ‘Brian Bedford’ dies at 80 due to his battle of cancer.
Tony is one screen star, and a veteran British stage. He was an award-winning classic actor in which he successfully lent his voice in 1973 Disney’s animated version of Robin Hood.
In 1997, he was inducted into Theater Hall of Fame after he was regularly made his appearance from Nixon to Cheers and Frasier.
As stated by Antoni Cimolino told Canada’s CBC News,
“He was the reason so many actors became actors,”
He added,
“He was the reason our audiences came year after year. He was not only an icon, he was a delight, and we will miss him so much.”
In addition, Bedford won seven Tony Awards for his incredible work on Broadway for Moliere’s The School for Wives in 1971. Bedford has a husband who is an actor named Tim MacDonald, and they were together for 30 years and tied the knot in July 2013.
